She stands.

I'm part of a Photos with Words group.  We are an eclectic, unique bunch of strangers with two things in common:  the love of photography and the love for words.  The two combined speak not just 1,000 words, but volumes.  It's a challenge.  To think.  To feel.  To capture more than moments, stories.

This week's photo prompt: Tip(s)

Here's what I captured on my evening jog:

"Rows of trees, low green leaves, houses and cars, a blur as I run.  There she is.  Naked and raw.  No leaves to cover her shame.  Vulnerable, exposed to the winter sting.  Until sunrise.  Her tips stretched high, high to the sky.  She will feel the Sun's warmth first...because the sun need not penetrate her clothes to reach her, she doesn't need to hide.  So she stands.  Tall.  Alone.  She stands apart.  The sun loves her first."

I love this group and its ability to remind me to dig deep.  To go outside my day to day routine.  To create. To live.
