God is Good.

My verse of the day:  Psalms 9:1 NKJV
"I will praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will tell of all Your marvelous works."

I received a verse of the day, and this was today's.

I started my day with a prayer, specific, birthing hope into a heart that is confused by speaking life into my needs.  God had to show up.  I needed to see Him work.

He answered.  More than I anticipated.  He gave me not only the gift of my answered prayer, specifically, but the gift of time to pair with it.

I was blown away.  Overwhelmed with gratitude, filled with a thankful heart.

Life is not easy.  Hearts are not healed.  Tough decisions are ahead and many off beaten paths to help me find my way.  But there are things to be thankful for, things to praise God for. 

On Thanksgiving Eve I was given a gift, the gift of restored faith, hope, trust.

And I am thankful...

For things to come.

For my beautiful daughter and her joyful, thankful heart.  Her bubbly spirit.  Her unconditional love.

For friends, new and old.

For family, far and near.

For music to feel the silence and a voice to sing praise.

For forgiveness.

For grace.

For time.  Opportunity.  Change.

For life.

God is good.  All the time.  Even when I don't see it.  Even when I didn't believe it.
