Um, Happy Birthday to me...& Baby Girl?!

I'm in labor and delivery (again) for too many contractions. Five minutes apart. One shot, an IV, and a cerclage removal later I am in a delivery room waiting for 10:00 PM to roll around. No cupcakes for me on this birthday. Doctor said no more food or drink. We're having a baby!!!!!!!

Labor and delivery isn't my idea of a birthday party....

Having a healthy, beautiful baby girl on my birthday is quite possibly the most kick ass birthday present ever!!! (sorry, darling. I think our daughter's birth is going to beat the awesome new waffle maker, lol).

I'm....in disbelief. Is this really happening?

Just 6 hours ago I was in tears over my exhaustion and frustration from having contractions....but I never expected this.

We are 36 weeks and 1 day. What an accomlpishment.

I am terrified, excited, exhausted, nervous, elated...this list goes on.

We.are.having.a.baby!!!!

God, I hope we get to keep her!!!! ((loss moms understand))
