Ryan has been amazing about keeping the house cleaned. I'll admit, I do things very differently, but I honestly cannot complain. I am grateful for his diligence and his efforts. I am not used to being taken care of, but it's nice to know the house isn't becoming a hoarders house in my cleaning absence.
In an attempt to curve my boredom and to bring some satisfaction for the day, I decided to take on this project: Tee to Tank {Thank you, Pinterest for this one!!!}. I thought this would be a cute summer alternative, plus I could create a new wardrobe out of my unused t-shirt wardrobe for FREE. That sounds heavenly with a newborn and a postpartum body on the way!!! I could take the t-shirt/yoga pants mommy outfit a fashion forward - much cuter level! Plus, with the option to tie the straps on both sides vs. one side I could easily convert these to "nursing tanks." Hmmm...maybe if I used velcro at the top of the straps? Yes, I might just try this.
Here is my first attempt { and no, I cannot model this due to my very large baby bump! But I did post about it on my DIY blog} -- and I'm quite pleased with it's cuteness. I'll admit. I NEVER once wore this t-shirt. I bought it as part of a fundraiser, but just couldn't get into the fit of this tshirt. Now I can't wait to wear it!!!
Now, on to the next project!?! What shall it be? Another Tee to Tank? Another headband for Baby Girl? Will I take up crocheting {doubt it, my patience is too thin for that right now!}? I'll keep you posted. I have 13 more days {{hopefully}} of this. As bored as I am, I'd still love to make it to our goal date of June 26th!
